Don't know why....
Yesterday, woke up late for work but found out that i wasn't going. Since i had already quit my job, my whole program for the day was screwed. With totally nothing to do and lots of time in my hands, i did what any normal human being would do...
...i think.
I toyed with my new Creative Zen Micro Mp3 player.Woohoo!! Finally had a chance to upload some songs into it. I thought the program would be easy to operate, but it was more difficult and confusing than it looked. And the manual wasn't much of a help either. Creative makes pretty fine Mp3 players but they suck at giving instructions. 3/4 of the program they supplied were useless to me. Either that or i couldn't decipher what they were trying to tell me. Oh well... As long as i could listen to songs on the go, i couldn't care less! But i was satisfied with what i got, good deals are hard to come by. Even more so since i bought it with my own hard-earned money. Kind of extravagant, but treating yourself once in a while never harmed no one.
After that, went to my cousin's house. There, I created this blog out of sheer boredom! This kept me pre-occupied for a good half day.Actually, to think of it, its more like the whole day and all the way through the night. Went for a night jog 2 hours after dinner. I profess that i am not as fit as i used to be, too preoccupied with things right now. Things that are important for the sake of my future. Maybe age is catching up to me. Who knows! But it was a cool night. Not too humid and not too dry.
There was a large crowd when i passed by the Expo. And traffic had slowed down significantly. Maybe it was due to the Disney on Ice show, could have been the last performance night. " Mini Las Vegas" was still going strong, just like every other night. I seriously think they should tone down on the neon lights. It makes me wonder what goes on in there at night. Went through private housing estates on the way home. It exudes an eerie atmosphere at night. Damn, i wouldn't want to be caught alone. The place is totally lifeless with ancient trees and all. Personally, i think that living in a private estate robs you of neighbourly relations and the fun that comes with it. You tend to coop up in the compound of ur house. The walls act as a barrier, a cage, keeping you in. Who needs that much space anyway? Its more of a show of status than a necessity. I'd be happy living in a 3-room apartment. Anyway, living in a HDB estate means that u share certain areas with your neighbours, kind of communal areas. Thus you interact more with them, create, be it, friendly or bad relations with them. You tend to share a part of your life with them. That's how i see it. With the soaring costs of living standards here, can't see myself living in a private estate any time in the next millenium! Wouldn't want to anyway! Chaoz...
