it's been a while...

I profess I've not blogged for a very long time. It's due to my many commitments to work, family and life. Actually, i just can't be bothered with my computer. It's infected with many viruses and programs tends to slow down to a crawl. So i try my best not to use the computer. KNNBCCB. At least once a year, i would have to reboot my computer. It really takes the fun out of owning a PC.

I've started work and have been working since last 2 fridays. It's been fun meeting new friends and working in a new environment. But the dust is getting to me. Been having flu all week because of it. Dang-ed out. Im the youngest among my colleages there. First time they saw me, thought i was some 24 year old adult! Fish, do i look THAT old?! ha ha. one guy thought i had just finished serving NS. One girl didn't believe me at first when i told her i was 17. Even her boyfriend thought i was 20 plus. Anyway, i get along fine with the whole team.

And since im still a adventure-loving teenager, work tends to be overly boring at times. You know what i mean if you've ever carried boxes after boxes non-stop for 8 hours! So we'd do stuff do liven up the atmosphere. I'd be giving out innovative nicknames. The others would crack jokes and sing. 2 of my co-wokers have been duly given the title "hot stuff". It signifies their popularity among people. The other 3 workers, including me, are normal ordinary citizens so we don't get nicknames. We just not cool enough. ha ha.

Motivation to come to work has always been money, as far as i am concerned. Hey, no one goes to work just because they like to. At least not yet. Earning $48 a day is a big motivating factor! It can buy you a couple's meal at swensen, with desserts included! Ahh. Silly things i'd do for money. But no one can live without money. Everything revolves around money. And i mean EVERYTHING! Anyway i need the money to pay off the loan i took. Fish. At work, we'd count the time not by minutes or hours, but by money. Instead of saying "we've got 4 more hours to go." It'd be " we've still got $24 to pocket." Sad but that's how the world works. Going back to work tomorrow. Just can't wait to pocket another $48! Woohoo!...

Today i accompanied my close female compatriots to the airport to study. They invited and i obliged since i got nuts to do today. I've been finding myself being the only guy in the group whenever we go out. This in malay is called 'sesat' or 'lost'.Thanks to Nad for constantly reminding me about this! Thanks alot ar! ha ha. But it was fun. Caught up on old times. How new friends are different. Personally, i find that as you go on from secondary to tertiary, the older u get, the harder it is to find a true blue friend. Nowadays, the context of a "true" friend is very fuzzy. Been hearing lots of stories about new acquaintences. With friends like these, hell you don't need enemies. And what is up with people nowadays, still immatured even after advancing from secondary education. Scandals here there, lots of emotions running around etc. Fish, some only known each other for like a month plus! My advice to them is, study first! You can make friends later on if u want to. Know someone well before jumping into any conclusions.

Back to events that occured just now! They studied at the canteen of the airport while i listened to some music. Nadz n Marz were doing a math while syaz was doing chem, i think. It was peaceful and there were other students studying too. Actually it was more of 'reading' up of school notes, since a 'NO STUDYING allowed' sign was put up there. I've got a new found respect for some of the JC students, they're under alot of stress to perform. I'm still riding the carefree carousel! ha ha. This is the life!
The peaceful atmosphere was disrupted by sporadic outbursts of laughter by marz, and the rest of us would be hiding our faces. But it was fun. Im sure they learnt something from all the studying just now so it wasn't a waste of time. After they studied fer around 3 hours, we headed to TM to meet marz and syaz's work friends. We headed home after the short trip to TM. I accompanied them to the busstop first, then took a long walk to my granma's home to retrieve my laptop cover.

After having dinner there, i took a long walk home. Bus fare is getting expensive nowadays, even more so since its coming out from my own pocket! Mahal... mahal... So i'm trying my best to save some money. I'd spend $10 on transport in like 3 days. Okay, that is all! Getting rather sleepy. And i'm looking forward to work tomorrow! So... Chaoz fer now... :D

p.s. I'd like to take this opportunity to say sorry to the respective parties concerning the 'pencilcase issue', and to Nad... If you're reading this, i just want to tell you... i know what u did in the elevator! ha ha ha...
