no sweat. chicken feet. ha ha. all the way!

Poly has finally begun! My semester started like 2 weeks ago. First day of school was not too shabby as my new classmates were all very sporting. We clicked in a matter of minutes. I think they grouped all the chi ko peks and flirt kings in one class. Ha ha. Seriously.

Couldn't find the time to update my blog as i've been caught up in school work lately. My poly must be the only school of tertiary education to have homework and PE. Anyway, school's a blast! Went for dragon boat training yesterday. To summarize it in one word. Tough. Started off with static pt. Then, went for a round-campus run. The girls ran alongside the guys and no one complained or stopped for a breather. We were motivated to push forward and grit our teeth. Being constantly reminded, "you are running for your team, not yourself", also helped as a motivating factor. After running, we mounted the chin-up bar and then went for gym session. Ended the day with a dip in the pool. The camaraderie and team spirit was unbreakable among the dragon boaters. This deserves a salute. I was game for the next training session eventhough i was totally worn out that day. But this was not to be, when i found out that its thursday training clashed with my outside activities. Haish, a really wasted opportunity.

I'm going to end with a few pointers on poly life, from the perspective of yours truly.

1.Owning an mp3 is a MUST if your school is on the other side of singapore.(for the long journey)
2.Find someone whom you can REALLY study with.
3.Builds your stamina.(Think travelling. Lots of it & in the shortest time possible!)
4.Lunch is a cut-throat competition.(nimble asses are a must to get good seats)
5.And the food is way too expensive even by national standards.(give us a break, we're just students!)

With that, i'm off to do some serious damage with my books. Chaoz fer now... :D
